Q: What about Insurance?
A: SIM provides standard liability of .10 per pound per
piece up to $5,000 per trailer at no charge. We recommend you contact your
insurance agent to see if your homeowner’s policy will cover your goods or to
request a transportation “rider”.
Additional coverage for loss
or damage due to carrier negligence is available as follows:
For a $75.00 charge, your coverage would
increase to $1.00 per pound per item up to a maximum of $18,000 per trailer.
For a $125.00 charge, your coverage would
increase to $2.00 per pound per item up to a maximum of $36,000 per trailer.
For a $175.00 charge, your coverage would
increase to $3.00 per pound per item up to a maximum of $54,000 per trailer.
Q: When do I pay?
A: Payment in full is required at the time your loaded
